Secure Patient Portal for Medical Practice Group

A network of 8 medical practices was struggling with patient communication. Phone lines were constantly busy, staff spent hours on routine scheduling calls, and patients had no way to access their health information outside of office visits.

Each practice had its own systems and processes, making it difficult for patients who visited multiple locations within the network. Medical records were not easily accessible between practices.

The practices needed a solution that would improve patient experience while reducing administrative burden, all while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

We developed a unified patient portal that connected all 8 practices while maintaining strict security and compliance standards. The portal included online appointment scheduling, secure messaging with providers, and access to medical records and test results.

The system was built with HIPAA compliance as a foundational requirement, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication, audit logging, and role-based access controls.

Integration with existing practice management systems ensured that data flowed seamlessly between the portal and each practice's internal systems without requiring duplicate data entry.
